Basic Courses

To participate in the following Beginning Open Water Dive Courses, follow these three simple steps:

1. Submit payment for the program by selecting the appropriate course options and clicking on 'Pay Now'. During the payment process, please enter an email address when prompted so that you can receive a login and password to register for dates.
2. Register dates from our calendar.
   1. For the NON-REFERRAL (Full Open Water Certification Course), please select 1 Pool Session in Pacifica, CA and 1 Ocean Session Weekend in Monterey, CA.
   2. For the REFERRAL course, please select 1 Pool Session in Pacifica, CA.
3. Complete and send in the related registration forms located at the bottom of the page, here.

Note: I would encourage you to register as soon as you make the decision to join our program. We keep the training groups small and they usually fill up well prior to the training dates. We are forced to turn people away from most classes, so it is important to register early.

Note: If you are on a tight schedule, overnight shipping is available by selecting the 'Buy Now' button directly below. There will be an additional shipping charge of $35 for overnight shipping.

Open Water Dive Course - Referral (Option 1)

The Open Water Dive Course is a 2 Part Course (as illustrated by the flowchart on the home page). Phase 1 can be completed with a day and consists of coursework, lecture, and a pool training session. Phase 2 consists of the 4 dives split into 2 days. This can be completed by a PADI certified instructor at a different location. Included In Total Cost: All necessary dive equipment for pool session. Class materials. Dive Requirements: 200 yard swim and 10 minute survival float.

Open Water Dive Course - Non-Referral (Option 2)

The Open Water Dive Course is a 2 Part Course (as illustrated by the flowchart on the home page). Phase 1 can be completed with a day and consists of coursework, lecture, and a pool training session. Phase 2 consists of the 4 dives split into 2 days in Monterey, CA. Included In Total Cost: All necessary dive equipment for pool and ocean sessions. Class materials. Dive Requirements: Open Water certification requires a minimum of 4 dives over a period of 2 days.

Open Water Dive Course - Maui/Hawaii (Option 3)

Here you will find information on our beginning, Maui Open Water Diver Referral training programs. You can begin at home, then complete the training while on vacation on the beautiful island of Maui. Don't waste your valuable vacation time sitting in a classroom. Begin your training with us, and be ready to dive when you get to Maui! The Open Water Dive Course is a 2 Part Course (as illustrated by the flowchart on the home page). Phase 1 can be completed with a day and consists of coursework, lecture, and a pool training session. You will practice with the dive equipment under the safety and guidance of our professional PADI Instructors. The pool training will take one evening. (See Pool Schedule under the Calendar page for details.) Phase 2 consists of the 4 dives split into 2 days. This can be completed by a PADI certified instructor in Maui. It consists of 2 enjoyable days of boat diving. Not only will you get the cahnce to do some of hte best diving in the Hawaiian Islands, you will become certified as a PADI Open Water Diver during your vacation on Maui. Note: If you wish to train at the Maui facility simply send us the dates you will be on the island and we will make all the arrangements for your training. Included In Total Cost: All necessary dive equipment for pool and ocean sessions. Class materials. Boat diving. Dive Requirements: Open Water certification requires a minimum of 4 dives over a period of 2 days.

Course Discounts

Proof MUST be provided. A student ID, Law Enforcement ID, etc.

1. Multi-Diver Discount:

Three (3) or more divers registering together and paying together for any of our programs are eligible for a 10% discount off tuition (discount does not include any learning materials).

2. Student, Law Enforcement, Fire Protection, Active Duty Military:

Students, Active Military, and members of any Law Enforcement or Fire Protection Agency will receive a 10% discount off of any of our regularly scheduled training programs. These discounts will be subtracted off our standard course tuition (discount does not include any learning materials).

Note: Only one discount program can be applied. Discounts cannot be stacked atop one another. If more than one discount program could apply, we will credit you with the greatest discount.

Cancellation Policy

Please choose your training dates carefully!

Cancellations received 14 days prior to the start of the water training will be available for a refund, subject to a 10% cancellation fee, or can be re-scheduled, and confirmed, to a later date at no additional charge.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the start of the water training are not refundable and can be changed to a later training session on a stand-by, space available basis only.

Cancellations received within 48 hours of the start of the water training are not refundable. Training can be changed to a later training session on a stand-by, space available basis only.

Pool Training re-schedule: $90.00 re-schedule fee
Open Water Training re-schedule: $90.00 re-schedule fee ($45 per day)
Full Course (pool and open water training): $180.00 re-schedule fee
