San Francisco Scuba Schools offers the most personalized diving classes you will find in the Bay Area!

Through our Home Study program, you can begin your diving class at home, then join our professional dive team for the pool introduction to the diving equipment.

For only $189 you can complete the Phase 1, Home Study and Pool instruction and be ready for the ocean training.

Two or more divers registering together will receive a 10% multi-diver discount off the tuition making the Phase One tuition only $170.10 per diver.

Additionally: Our program tuition fee includes usage of all necessary diving gear during the program (including mask, snorkel and fins). Unlike with other facilities, you do not need to rent or purchase any equipment for our programs.

Our team was trained by Master Instructor Craig Gillespie. Unlike the part time dive instructors with most shops, Craig is a professional who has been teaching diving as his full time career for over 30 years. During that time he has taught diving in The United States, Australia, Hawaii & Japan and has assisted over 21,000 people learn to dive.

Next, you can choose to complete the Phase 2 ocean training dives, and gain certification, with us in Monterey. As with the Phase 1, all necessary equipment will be supplied at no additional charge. You do not need to purchase, or rent any gear when participating in our Open Water training programs.

Alternately, through our Tropical Resort Certification Program, you can complete the ocean dive training while on vacation in beautiful destinations such as Hawaii, Cozumel, Cancun, the Caribbean, Thailand, Fiji, Australia and any of thousands of other diving destinations around the world.

Two or more divers joining our program together will receive a 10% discount.
Five or more divers joining together will receive a 15% discount.
Military, Law Enforcement & Fire Safety Personnel Receive a 15% Discount .
