We have pools in Marin County and San Jose. You have the choice of participating in
the required pool sessions at any of our facilities.
The Open Water Certification requires one evening of pool training and two days of
Open Water Training.
Marin Pool: If you choose the Marin pool session,
one evening of training will be required. The sessions begin
at 5:00 PM and finishes about 10:00.
San Jose Pool: If you choose the San Jose pool session,
one evening of training will be required. The San Jose pool training session begins
at 5:00 PM and finishes about 10:00.
Look at the schedules below. Choose a pool training dates and location that best fits your
schedule. Below, you will find our pool training schedules for our regularly scheduled pool sessions.
Then choose an Open Water training weekend. It's best, but not required, to choose an Open
Water weekend as soon as possible after completion of the pool training.
If you are planning to complete the ocean training dives elsewhere through our Tropical Referral
Certification Program, you need only choose pool training dates.
If you are planning to finish the ocean diving at our Maui Facility, please choose
pool training dates and notify us of the dates you will be on Maui. The Maui training can be arranged to fit your
vacation schedule.
Once you have found dates that will work for you, click on the Registration Procedures page link in
the left hand side bar. If you see no dates that will fit your schedule, please contact us. Through our Private
Diver Program we can often arrange other training dates that might work better for you, dependent upon pool & instructor
availability.
