on a monthly basis.
Know where you are. Always!
Under water Navigation is, without a doubt, the most important, and often, the most overlooked aspect
of diving. Remember your very first Open water dive? You were excited about your first diving experience and probably paid
little attention to where you were going during the dive. You were perhaps astonished to surface and see that your instructor
knew exactly where you were all the time. Navigation can be difficult but, with a little practice and experience, you two
will soon be navigating like a pro.
Dive requirement: 3 Dives over 2 days. Advanced Certified Divers have already completed the
first dive as part of the Navigation Specialty Course. In the case of Advanced Certified divers the remaining two dives, and
Navigation Specialty Certification, can be completed in one day.
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

Pressing the limit.
Mention "deep diving" amid a group of divers and watch the reactions. Novice divers want to know
what it's like. More experienced divers, who have been a bit deeper chat with excitement. Deep Diving Specialty Divers, those
qualified to venture to 130 feet, the recommended farthest edge of recreational diving, also show enthusiasm, but tempered
with respect for the more serious nature of deep diving. There's something a bit attractive, exciting and mysterious about
"going deep." Through the Deep Diving Specialty Course you will be introduced to the techniques of deep diving and be qualified
to dive to depths as deep as 130 feet.
Dive requirement: 4 Dives over 2 days
Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver

The Key to unlimited bottom time.
Multilevel diving gives you the ability to increase your bottom time by gradually ascending to a
shallower depth during your dive. Through the use of the PADI Wheel or a dive computer, and the techniques learned in this
class, you will be able to do much more of what you got into diving for; explore the aquatic realm.
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

Another New Adventure!
Why would people dive at night when they can see the same dive site just as easily during the day?
At dusk, nocturnal animals such as shrimp, crabs and many nocturnal fish become active. Other animals that are difficult to
approach during the day, will let you get closer at night. Night diving adds a whole new perspective to an "old" dive site.
Dive requirement: 3 Dives over 2 nights
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

The Heights of Adventure!
Over the years the worlds mountains have become synonymous with recreation, a place to escape civilization
and commune with nature. Not surprisingly, more and more divers are heading for the hills to pursue their recreation. Mountain
lakes are often cool, clean, clear and full of interesting aquatic life. Altitude diving is your key to diving opportunities
inland, away from the ocean.
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

Take the Adventure to the High Seas
No hike from the car, No rock entries, No long surface swim, No surf entries or exits, need I say
more. Much of the best diving in the world is accessible only by boat.
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

If You Can't Beat the Current, Join It!
Many of the worlds best diving is in high current areas. Rather than fight the current, drift with
it. In some sites, the current carries you far faster than you could swim, sailing you along effortlessly. Drifting with the
current and not having to worry about returning to the boat, lets you relax and concentrate on the dive. This is as close
as it gets to effortless diving.
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

Find the Adventure
One of the most gratifying experiences in diving is setting out to find a lost object, and succeeding.
In this course you will learn a variety of search patterns and techniques to better help you in finding lost objects.
Dive requirement: 4 Dives over two days
Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver

Explore the Past
There's nothing like the thrill of diving a wreck for the first time. Descending, you gaze downward,
trying to catch a glimpse of it. At first, you see nothing. Then, as it slowly comes into view you can't help but reflect
on this once vibrant vessel resting peacefully on the bottom, slowly being claimed by the sea and her creatures. Wreck diving
is an adventure in exploring man's loss and nature's gain.
Dive requirement: 4 Dives over 2 days
Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver

Make the Adventure Dry
Modern dry suits have opened the door to diving in even the coolest water. A dry suit lets you venture
into sites far from the tropical dive resorts to which many people limit their diving. While dry suits offer warmth, they
do require some special techniques. Fortunately, it's not much of a drawback because mastering dry suit skills is easy. With
the cost of dry suits free falling many divers are choosing to "go dry."
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver

Extend the Adventure
One of the most important innovations ever in recreational diving. Nitrox is air that has been enriched
to a maximum of 40% oxygen. By cutting back on the nitrogen content of the air, nitrox will give you longer bottom times as
well as a decreased risk of decompression sickness and nitrogen narcosis.
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Prerequisite: Open Water Diver with 10 logged dives or Advanced Open Water Diver

Bring the Adventure Home
Who doesn't want to bring back photographic memories of their underwater adventures! Not long ago,
taking pictures underwater was a difficult endeavor reserved for those with patience and a mountain of cash. Today, camera
systems are far more affordable and easy to use. Whether exploring reefs, or wrecks, diving the ice or at altitude, or diving
that local site you've done hundreds of times, underwater photography adds a new element of interest to every dive.
